Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a technology that uses computer software to analyze and solve problems involving fluid flows. It is a sophisticated analysis technique that can predict not only fluid flow behavior, but also heat and mass transfer.

At InnovaAQP Ingenieros using CFD, a geometric computer model is built that represents the system or device to be studied and then the physics of fluid flow (including boundary conditions and fluid properties) is applied to this virtual prototype; The software generates a prediction of the fluid dynamics.

The Discrete Element Method (DEM) has become a powerful simulation tool for a wide range of industries dealing with bulk particulate solids or granular media.

Transfer chutes, feeders, mills and crushers are some of the bulk material handling equipment that DEM allows to evaluate and optimize.

DEM simulates the behavior of a wide range of bulk materials, allowing us at InnovaAQP Ingenieros to analyze the flow of these materials through each segment of your equipment or operation.

Hydraulic engineering

At InnovaAQP Ingenieros we have the capabilities to design hydraulic networks and pumping systems for the fluids most commonly used in the industry, such as water, oils, fuels, reagents, etc. , as well as fluids with suspended solids such as concentrates and tailings.
 
Our complementary area of specialty is the design of free surface fluid transport systems, widely used in mining to transport tailings and concentrate, inside and outside concentrator plants. To achieve this we use analytical models, CFD and physical models, depending on the magnitude of the problem and the expected certainty of the analysis.

Finally, we carry out stress and flexibility analysis in piping systems, pipe racks, supports and others.

Structural Mechanical Engineering

At InnovaAQP Ingenieros we carry out structural engineering analysis to determine stresses in the assembly and/or partss of the assembly from internal and external loads and forces, through analytical methods and in conjunction with FEM finite element analysis (FEA).

We have analyzed and solved fatigue related cracking, mechanical and structural vibration, and by means of field measurement such as strain gauges and accelerometers.

Our team of professionals uses the latest tools and technologies related to 2D and 3D analysis, design, modeling and detailing.

At InnovaAQP Ingenieros we have test data, experience and analysis capacity. We design conveyor belts  and we also provide field services to find the root cause of belt failure  conveyor, and we develop the engineering for the upgrade of existing conveyor belts.

At InnovaAQP Ingenieros we can perform the analysis and simulation of comminution and classification circuits in mineral processing operations. Performed by our design and development engineers, process analysis techniques are applied to characterize the behavior of your existing plant and simulation models are produced to analyze different operation cases or design alternatives.
