Project Supervision

 

InnovaAQP Ingenieros has experienced professionals in supervision and expediting of steelwork projects.

Among the supervision activities we carry out for our clients are the following:

  1. Review of the scope of the contract, review of the technical specifications and alignment meetings (kick-off meeting).
  2. Review of the project schedules, verification of committed resources (specialty and amount of labor, competence of personnel, facilities, equipment, etc.), issuance of observations on the schedule.
  3. Evaluation of resources and facilities at various production stages, detection of potential bottlenecks, communication to the parties involved and proposal of solutions. For this, InnovaAQP Ingenieros uses databases of standard performance ratios in activities of manufacture and assembly of goods such as: equipment, steel structures, piping spools, platework, etc.
  4. Monitoring the progress of the project, control of the status of milestones: acquisitions of materials and equipment, manufactured goods, painted goods, packed goods, dispatches, quality dossiers and as-built plans.
  5. Comparison of achievement of milestones against use of resources and stipulated dates, determination of specific performance ratios, elaboration of projected S curves, simulation of future scenarios for project decision-making.
  6. Observation of compliance with applicable safety, hygiene and environmental regulations during the execution of the project.
  7. Preparation of progress reports, non-conformance reports, communication of alerts due to deviations, among others.

Quality Assurance (QA)

 

At InnovaAQP Ingenieros, we develop for you systematic verification processes that will serve to ensure that your products meet the requirements specified by the project or final user. In this way we contribute to raising the confidence of your clients, reinforcing the credibility of your company,  increase the efficiency of your processes, allowing you to develop competitive advantages in the market.

 

Among the QA activities that we offer are:

 

  • Preparation of quality plans aligned with ISO 10005:
    • Produced goods: steel structures, storage tanks, platework, piping spools, mechanical equipment, pre-cast concrete, etc.
    • Procedures for: material handling, manufacturing, inspection, coatings, treatment of non-conformities, packaging, dispatch, etc.
  • Preparation of inspection and testing plans (ITP), according to applicable technical standards (ASTM, API, ASME, NACE, NTP, AISC, ISO, etc.). Design of records that will leave evidence of the activities carried out.
  • Preparation and qualification of PQR & WPS welding procedures, in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, etc. At InnovaAQP Ingenieros we have AWS/IIW certified welding engineers and inspectors with extensive experience.
  • Qualification of welders and WPQ welding operators, in SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW processes, etc. according to the requirements of AWS D1.1, ASME IX and others.
  • Preparation of inspection procedures for non-destructive tests VT, PT, MT and UT. At InnovaAQP Ingenieros we have ASNT Level 3 personnel qualified to prepare and approve NDT procedures.
  • Internal audits of the quality control system.

Suppliers Surveillance

InnovaAQP Ingenieros inspectors have extensive experience as a client inspection (surveyor) during the procurement (supply chain) in large mining projects. Our inspectors have previously worked in the Supplier Quality Surveillance areas of the multinational corporations such as Bechtel and Fluor, the two largest EPC companies in the world.

 

Among our activities to carry out we can mention:

 

  • Verification of products in supplier workshops, physical characteristics, quantities, dimensions, manufacturing processes, personnel qualifications, factory tests and trials, etc.

  • Verification of the technical conformity of the products with respect to the customer's specification and applicable international standards.

  • Verification of the contracted scope according to purchase order.

  • Verification of the logistics operations carried out on the products, labeling and identification, packaging, loading, stowage, unloading, storage, conservation and maintenance.

  • Issuance of inspection reports, alerts and non-conformity reports.
